Saarang is the annual cultural festival of IIT Madras, the biggest of its kind in India. It has been witnessing a footfall of over 50,000 since the last few editions. ISO certified (ISO 9001:2008) and attracting a demographic diversity that few can boast of, Saarang remains an unrivaled platform for showcasing the energy and creativity of the youth and hence the best place to market your company. Saarang has been the stage for popular performers like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar, Sonu Niigaam, Kay Kay, Shaan ,Zakir Hussain and also for internationally recognized bands like Pain of Salvation, Opeth , Hammerfall and Vildhjarta. It has also witnessed the lectures of the likes of Kamal Haasan, Shriya Saran, Gautham Menon, Shashi Tharoor and Arun Shourie.
